<p>Hey. I made this thread basically because my search for a thread on IQ tests was moot. Also I am curious. Everyone in this forum seems to consider themself a natural born genious so I was wondering what your IQ’s are. So I think it would be cool if everyone could post their IQ’s and what site or other medium they used to get their scores. </p>

<p>… your IQ is only 130 with all those Internet quizzes? At my medical school, we all took those quizzes for fun over the summer, and the class average was 274. You’re doomed when it comes to medical school admissions.</p>

<p>Sorry, OP, but the fact that such you’re actually posting this tells us your EQ is about half what the IQ tests reports. And, I hate to say it, but the fact that you actually place any stock in these non-standardized “IQ tests” is evidence of just how off those tests are! Sorry, dude.</p>
<p>As for the avg IQ well… the average doc has an IQ of around 125.</p>
<p>As for mine (as measured by a standardized IQ test)… since you’re obviously very intelligent and interested in our IQs, it’s closely related to the sum of the final 4 digits of the prime factorization of the number

Maybe it’ll help your MCAT score… (Hint: it’s between 120 and 200… and the relation between the sum of the last 4 digits of each prime factor and my IQ is a basic algebraic relationship…one you use quite often in Physics but not so much in Chemistry)</p>
<p>IQ tests online are crap. Even legitimate ones at testing centers are all relative to their definition of intelligence. </p>

<p>This website says that the 10th and 90th percentiles of physicians have IQs at about 105 and 135. I guess you could identify these as “successful pre-meds”, but realize that competition is increasing and these physicians did medical school years ago, so there might be a slight increase. Probably not by much.</p>

<p>Just because you have lower standards of IQ testing doesn’t make those tests any better. You get what you pay for, and not even that sometimes when it comes to the internet.</p>

<p>SAT doesn’t work unless you keep age, amount of study time, and previous level of knowledge constant. Just because the kid who studied for 1000 hours got a 1500/1600 on the SAT doesn’t mean that he’s smarter than the kid who got a 1450 without cracking a book.</p>
