What is the minimum GPA to avoid recinsion for transfer students?

Hi guys, I’ve just recently been accepted as a transfer student and am currently on exchange. As my grades are only transferred back to my home university under a P/F basis, I kind of held the belief that as long as my grades were all Ps, I’d be safe. Now they are ALL Ps currently, but apparently NYU wants to see my actual grades from my exchange university. And truthfully, they arent hot at all - 1B, 2Cs currently.

Will I get recinded for this? What happens if one of the C drops to a D? Is it better to drop the class rather than pick up a D? Sigh, I know this has been asked to death but most of the responses pertained to freshmen students not transfer students.

In any case, I knew I shouldnt have had too much fun :frowning: lol crap

I had a 2.3 my second semester after being accepted but before coming, nobody said a word, I even mentioned it to my advisor and he didn’t complain.

omg wow that really gives me some hope now although I hope yours wasnt just a lucky case, 'cos I kind of spoke to the admissions director there and he said that it is LIKELY that my application will have to go before the admissions board for a deliberation. I kind of really feared for my life after that.
