I looked it up online, but the information wasn’t clear enough. How does it work? Do you sign up for classes under the OCC banner? Are they extra-curiccular programs under the OCC banner? Is it just community service? Please be specific. THANKS! (I’m trying to decide what programs to go on a tour on, so I want to know what each thing is to see if I want to spend an hour learning about it)

OCC is Outside the Classroom Curriculum. It’s just a university program that encourages students to take advantage of school events about careers and such. Like if they have a study abroad fair or something and you show up there are people there who will swipe your Panther card and it’s recorded that you attended it.

It really doesn’t mean much but apparently you get some sort of distinction at the end of the year if you complete your OCC requirements.

^And a green cord at graduation as well as a transcript of your activities that you can show off to future, potential employers (who probably won’t care…but whatevs)
