What is the PG year at Deerfield Academy like? Do PG students feel they are part of the community?
My son was considering Deerfield as a 9th grader. I’ve been to the campus a few times. Overall it seems like a close knit group of students. Deerfield is out in the middle of nowhere, so the kids get to know each other quite well. I imagine stepping in as a PG can be a bit difficult to break into the cliques. But since you will be there only a year anyway, I’m sure it would be fine. Deerfield is a sports crazed school, and the athletes there are quite high performing.
