I have an ACT score of 26, 3.69 gpa. I have joined the Robotic team and physics club in my highschool, but I didn’t do any sport ( I am going to join the football team after this summer, is that too late for me to put into the extracurricular? cause after this summer I am a senior). and I also joined the Astronomical Association in the June this year, isn’t that a little bit late too? I have a volenteer job helping kids with special needs. I have a part time job since I was a sophomore, but I didn’t pay taxes, and that restaurant colsed down in March, so there is no evidence I worked in there, what should I do to show the college that I did worked in there?( I suppose I could call the boss of that restaurant and let him write me a letter or smoething, but i don’t know that’s going to work or not). and I just got a another job a week ago( also not paying tax, cause I only work one day week and I get the min wages). so, question, do my working experiences count??? and how do i prove to them that i did have a job??? I didn’t really take any AP or honor classes in my past high school years( beacuse i was in the ELL program, I have to get a permission to take a class from the ELL office, and they really don’t want me to take hard classes, so I take all the regular courses). I want go to general study, because I’ve heard general study is less competitve. I went to visit the campus a week ago, they told me I could choose a major and put general study as second choice. then if they think I can’t meet the requires of the first choice major then they will automatically put me in general study. but I am a little worry about this, cause i think they will just give me a deny if i don’t meet the major’s reauirement, i’m pretty sure i will not get into that major i want.( am i worrying about nothing??) or i just apply for the general study?
so, is there any chance?
