What is the scope of Mechanical Engineering in Florida?

<p>I am thinking of applying for a graduate school in Florida for MS or PhD. What is the scope of Mechanical Engineering in Florida?</p>

<p>Well, I guess what I meant was, what is the job market like in Florida for someone who is getting MS or PhD in mechanical engineering. For example, I know it is pretty good in Texas because of oil industry and booming big cities. I know it is sort of slowing down in California due to higher living cost and expensive labor cost. Any such insight regarding job market in Florida for a person like me who is getting MS or PhD in mechanical engineering would be great. </p>
