Who needs sports when you can have an education?

pepperdine

UW Madison or UCLA if “great academics” is a requirement

I’d have to agree with UCLA

I’m not seeing how great academics contributes to the sexiness of the college. Maybe this is what you’re looking for personally and rephrasing it “sexiest” legitimizes the question from your point of view?

berkeley .

I’m surprised no one has said UMiami. It hits every single requirement.

-great looking ppl: DUH! I go here.
-great academics: Excellent and improving every day. And I agree, intelligence is sexy.
-great location: Miami! Actually, one of the sexiest locations in the US.
-famous: Probably a top 20 or 30 school for name recognition. Known mostly for sports, but also for solid academics.
-best in sports: See above. I mean, we’re the Hurricanes. Although the quality of our football team has recently waned, the rest of our teams, particularly our baseball team, have continued to do incredibly well. Plus, there is still TREMENDOUS school spirit, in fair weather and bad. AND, I suspect a major resurgence in our footnball program in the next year or two. GO CANES!

“University of Texas”

Sexiest? Being in Texas takes it out of the running for sexiest in anything.

As a side note and also contributing to academics, is the selectivity at the University of Miami. You will not believe the amount of kids on different message boards that were waitlisted, then accepted, but already paid tuition deposits at schools like UNC, Emory, and Vanderbilt – schools they weren’t waitlisted at. I bet this is somewhat of a fluke, but UM is attracting more academic-minded students every year. And Miami gives out some serious scholarships, so you have kids “giving up” schools like Duke and Columbia for it. So, soon enough, it will be “up there” in percieved prestige. It sort of already is, after all. Now that is sexy.

yeah ucla girls are awesome…so props to ucla;

Ohio State and UCLA.

Texas wins at everything.

yeah texas is very unappealing…

Stay away from UNL!!!

Texas, I think of big hairy sweaty men with cowboy hats…and meat.

Big sweaty men – meat? Awkward correlation there.

Texas isn’t nearly as bad as people like to think.

I vote for any of the top Pac 10 schools.

■■■■■. Vanderbilt and no one comes close.
