My dad thinks that if I were to go there it would be hard to find any friends because the only time I would see people is in my classes. Obviously there would be social events too but would it be hard to find out about them because of the fact that I wouldn’t see anybody outside of classes?
If someone who went there in the past could help me understand what it’s like there with some detail that would be very helpful. Thanks
It’s the same with most community colleges unless they have a large residential community/dorms
Do you plan to live at home and commute to Cuesta or live in San Luis Obispo? Lots of Cuesta kids live in the many apartments in SLO. My son just graduated from Cal Poly) and lived at Mustang Village and it was full of Cal Poly and Cuesta students.
I’m going to live in SLO. The mustang village is actually a pretty good idea, but I’m not so sure how affordable it would be.
It’s expensive, as is all of housing in San Luis Obispo. You need roommates :). Contact the rental office at Mustang Village, they rent some rooms in the apartments/townhouses individually. Also check out Craigslist for roommates. It will all work out. And I would start working on that now!!
