What is the true value of an MBA in international buisness, at my universtiy they offer a bachelors in International Buisness but i ended up switching to Finance becuase the bachelors in int. buisness was so broad and it didn’t seem as if many students were having sucess finding jobs after graduation.

I have wondered the same thing. I have a background in the Arabic language and Near Eastern studies, and was contemplating the International MBA; however I get the impression that it’s a relatively worthless concentration.

It seems that most schools have a signature program (General Management at Tuck, Finance ant University of Chicago, etc) and that is probably what you should study.

I’d love to find out if my assumptions are incorrect.

man, i need advice. im a senior in high school and im thinking about majoring in international business. so u say its hard to find a job coming out of that major?

if you are planing to be I-Buisness
You need to think about something…
- U need to learn other language
- U need to understand other people’s culture
- If you get a job U need to be ready to go many diffrent place
which means lots of time spent on the plane

please keep coming with the responses. i am greatly interested as well…
