Hello, Im an immigrant and I really really want to become a doctor. I live now in California. I read everywhere that UCs are the best universities to go to if I want to become a doctor. Since I’m an immigrant and already finished my first year of college in my home country, I’ll have to go through a very hard way to be able to go into an UC. It will really be hard for me because everything in here is different from where I used to be. haha.

According to a lot of people who helped me, I need to go to a CC first and complete the required requirements to be able to transfer into a UC. And to do that I first need to know the major pre-requisites of the major I what to enter and to have a very high GPA ( I want to have a very high percentage to be accepted. :P). So my question is, what do you think the major I should plan to take in any of UCs especially in Berkeley, Santa Cruz, or Davis? The major you think that it’ll be easy to get into, since I’ll be transfering, that’ll be easy to have a very high GPA and considered as a good pre med.

I’m sure that becoming a doctor is what I really want. I want to become a doctor because I really want to help people, to relieve people from their pain. haha. It sounds extremely cheesy but it’s the truth. I never wanted to become a doctor just because of money. (just sharing) :)) Thank you for those who will answer. :D
