<p>UCD. Got into UCSD but not to my major due to it being impacted, so screw it.</p>

nilklas: I know a lot of people who were accepted to UCD but rejected to UCSD. A friend of mine with a 4.17 and a minority student was rejected from UCSD, but before she knew, she knew that Davis was her choice.Congrats on your accptances:)</p>

<p>ddawgie: Thank you. Don’t lose hope. If you were waitlisted, it means that you are a brilliant student with a good future ahead. Some students at my school, and with higher stats than me were flat out rejected.</p>

<p>mm9mVo: I was born with a speech impediment which made learning English as a Second language nearly impossible. Thanks to my parents helped, I begin to self-study math at age 4. I fell in love immediately. in addition, it was the first time I felt that at least one of my parents love me. I am not athletic. Lol. I am not sure at how many people were accepted exactly, but I do know that at most 3 out of 12 or so applicants. Last year the same amount of students applied but ten were accepted.</p>

<p>@worrygooseB so I am assuming that you are really good at math. It’s rare for me to meet math majors since everyone at my school either want to be a engineer or doctor. LOL. that was why I am curious in case you are wondering. Are you waiting for any other schools?</p>

<p>It is fine. I am surprise at myself sometimes too. Lol.I am currently waiting for cal, Stanford, Yale, Brown, Harvard, and USC. What about you? I am nothing special in math. I am just really interested on the subject along with language:). What about you?</p>

<p>I am waiting for cal USC brown Virginia Yale Dartmouth etc. but what are my chances lol. I applied bc I can. I want to specialize in cancer: oncology</p>

<p>Sounds interesting. Don’t give up! Your goal sounds really exciting. So I went back toschool to find out that I was wrong. 5 people made it in out of 21 applicants! By any chance, did you apply to the QuestBridge program?</p>
