What is your country famous for?

malaysia - for detaining prominent anti-government critics without trial under the Internal Security Act :D

Australia - nothing, nothing, nothing identifies Australia better than the Australian accent.

G’day mate, how ya goin’?
Fair dinkum!

I love it how we Aussies pronounce “average” as “air fridge” :P

And in Poland we’ve got words like:

Kędzierzawy.
Rzeżucha.

PYRAMIDS…n prolly Tahrir square 2 :))
I’m Egyptian :D

From what I have seen, drugs and black magic, which is really really inaccurate. Oh and couscous, of course! That’s sad, because there are so many wonderful things about Morocco, but obviously the famous ones are the relatively bad ones.

Singapore:

NO GUM!!! =D

Canada- hockey  and all the stereotypes, like how we have pet polar bears and we ride moose to school and live in igloos and eat nothing but maple syrup while wearing tuques and lumberjack shirts under parkas, while it snows every day. Hahahaha it’s all so far from true (except for hockey… we really are obsessed with that), but I’ve met some people who believe it.

Spain - Winning the 2010 FIFA soccer world cup!! Along with bulls, paella, flamenco and SAN FERM

^I forgot! The

Uruguay:

Singapore: Possibly the only country that has first-past-the-post multi-member constituencies in the world.

England - tea, scones, rain and the monarchy.

Not stereotypical at all.

Oh come on, there are dozens of stereoypes about England!

English are cold, distanced, keep their privecy, generally talk only about the weather and s on…
of course they’re just stereotypes. England is famous because of England :)

And for Spain: Spain is famous for Real Madryt and Barca and Lloret de Mar! :)

France…the accent?

Thailand- Pad Thai (although I hate it ^^)

Russia - bears walking in the streets, wearing felt boots and caps with ear-flaps, drinking vodka and playing balalaikas lol
