and why!!!

okay since not one person will respond…
i will ahhaa…
Boston College! love location, campus, quality of life, academics, everything!

okay please more people respond=]

UCSB:
Great location, by the water. Own little college town (You’d know if you’ve been to the campus). Great academics. HUGE party scene. What more could you ask for…

Syracuse University (especially S.I. Newhouse)

A few reasons:
- It has one of the best journalism/liberal arts programs in the United States.

2) It just happens to be on my figurative doorstep. (less than 35 miles)

3) I hear the parties are amazing.

4) I hear the parties are amazing.

5) Did I mention the parties already?

6) The professors are incredible, from what I’ve read online over the past year or so, and I know a few as acquaintances.

7) Central New York state has almost no natural disasters, save the occasional cataclysmic blizzard. Besides, snow melts, while tornado debris does not.

8) The dorms are fairly decent, and facilitate reasons 3-5.

9) I have relatives who hold positions there, and a cousin who attends SU already.

10) In high school, I will have taken almost 10 credits in SU courses already, which cuts down on prerequisites for my majors.

11) SU has multiple colleges of reasonable quality, in case I change my mind sometime.

Need more reasons?

Yale. The dorms, the opportunities, the libraries, the Harry Potter-esque traditions, the architecture, the traditions…

oh and the academics, too. ;)

but they accepted a very rude, undeserving person last year, so it’s been tainted. I’m just going to blame it on a admissions person who dozed off and drooled all over the person’s application and consequently blurred out all the text in the application and felt so bad, he just ok-ed the application…

Georgetown

I love Washington DC, been there twice, love the campus and feel, and I would like to continue on my dad’s legacy there

UCLA.

the chicks there are hot and smart. its in westwood, CALII!!! i am in-state so i get a great education for good price. # 1 in NCAA!!

Smith College

-excellent academics: small classes and awesome professors
-not too big, not too small
-community spirit
-coolest housing system ever
-excellent alumni network
-5 College Consortium
-students other than me with liberal political viewpoints
-in a cutesy little town but near to Boston
-more than 15 dining rooms
-beautiful campus

my “DREAM” dream school is Stanford, hands down!
- excellent academics, campus, location, and the best in Biology (and thousands other reasons)

However, my realistic dream shool is Wellesley College
- love acedemic feel of Boston and LAC
- excellent academics; also have strong science program
- beautiful campus
- half an hour away from Boston, so it has kind of secluded feeling
- perfect distance from home (not so close, so I have to visit every weekend, but not so far that I cannot visit during the holidays)
