Why does it matter what other people’s EFC is? The only one that matters for you is what your family’s EFC is.
And even if people told you it means nothing to you and each school interprets the EFCs differently. So far I have seen posts where people have had other questions and mentioned EFCs in the $4k to $90k range, so huge variations depending on income and assets.
