Applied to: Pepperdine, Pitzer, Occidental, USC, Univ. Of La Verne, Chapman, UCI, UCSB, UCSB, UCR
Accepted to: Pepperdine, La Verne, UCI, UCSB, UCSC, UCR
Pending: Pitzer, Occidental, USC, Chapman
Top Choice: Pepperdine but UCSB is a close second so I’m visiting both.

Applied to: UCB, UCLA, UCSD and UCD
Accepted to: UCSD
Pending: all the others
Top schools: UCB, UCLA, UCD in that order. Cal is my top choice but I’d be happy at UCLA or Davis. I really don’t want to go to SD, but I wanted to have two backups . . .

Applied to: UCI, UCSD, UCR, UC Berkeley, and UCLA
Accepted to: UCR, UCI, and UCSD
Pending: UC Berkeley and UCLA
Top schools: UC Berkeley<3, UCLA, and UCSD.

Applied to: UCI, UCSD, UCSB, UCB, UCLA, CSUF, CSULB
Accepted to: UCI

Top schools: Berkeley & LA.

Applied to: UCSD, UCB, UCI, UCSB, UCD
Accepted: Still waiting!

Top choices: UC Davis, UCSD, UCSB

I love UCSD but, it will probably be between UCSB and UCD (yeah I’m crazy enough to leave los angeles to move to davis =P). My significant other will be starting grad school at one of those so that plays a HUGE role in my decision.

Berkeley would be great for grad school.

just go to both. If you’re thinking about both top UCs, go to both. Meaning LA for undergrad, Cal for grad, or vice versa. That’s a genuine UC education.

Applied to UCB (would be like winning a lottery if i get accepted there) , UCSD, UCD, UCI, SJSU

Accepted : SJSU
Pending: The remaining

Top Choices: UCSD, UCD

Hoping to get into UCSD, otherwise UCD as i’ve a tag

Applied to: UC Berkeley, Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara.
Accepted:UC San Diego and TAG Santa Barbara.
Pending:UC Berkeley and Los Angeles

Top Choice: UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley

If i dont get accepted into my top choices im really lost on where to go because i think UC San Diego is a great school and for my major it has an archaeology field school and concentration for my major BUT the college i got into (Elanor Roosevelt) has dumpy requirements.
UC Santa Barbara is absolutely stunning and their anthro dept. is pretty good.

Applied to: USC, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCSC. Have not head back from any. Choices are presented in the order I want to attend.

peter: my friend’s sister gave up UCLA med school for her boyfriend. they broke up before the first quarter ended. don’t give up cal for irvine. that’s all i have to say.

Applied & choices in order: LA, SD, Cal

LA c’monnnnnnnnn!

Applied: Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB.
Accepted: UCSD
Waiting: Berkeley, UCLA, UCSB
Top choice: Although it changes often, UCSD holds a slight edge over UCLA (well, today at least )

I feel like the only one who didn’t apply to UCB, and UCLA XD…

Duke > Cal.

Duke > Cal.

Maybe for undergrad, but for graduate school they are not.

applied to: UCR, UCI, UCSB, UCLA
accepted: UCR
pending: UCI, UCSB, UCLA
TOP: UCI

@peterr86 i strongly advice against going to UCI over Cal for a relationship. im sorry to say that WILL probably end up biting you in the ass hardcore.

back on topic though,
Stanford, UCLA == Cal, USC, UCD in that particular order.

Applied: UCB, UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, UCD, UM

Accepted: Univeristy of Miami, UCSD

Pending: UCB, UCLA, UCSB, UCD

Top choice: Cal
