what kind of college fits me?

Basic Information: Grow up in Asia, until 16 years old, 11th grade. Came to the US 4 months ago, in Grade 10 now.

Asia:Model United Nations (English group.Delegates;not leader)
top 10%-15% in one of the best high schools in my country
Piano grade 10
took SAT before I came to the US, got 1930.

US: Top 3% at school ( a rather common school, not good at all)
no ESL as new immigrant
Tutor at community 3 hours a week
GPA:95 (unweighted)
SAT(second time,not taken yet, supposed to be):2250
SAT2(supposed to be): 3 subjects, 800 each
AP(supposed to be): 8APs, all score 5
AMC(national math competition): entered to AIME, but can’t go any further

Which colleges would you recommend(suppose all “supposed to be” come true)? I want to be an actuary…

what do u want to study…
if 2250 and 8 Aps that are all 5s, you have decent chance at good schools like chicago duke…
ivies are a lottery, u have a chance though

EC’s list not majorly impressive, but you just got here, cant expect much…

Just out of curiosity, how did you get your SAT up from a 1930 to a 2250? How far apart were the two tests?

He said, “supposed to be,” so I don’t think that OP’s taken the SAT I again or SAT IIs yet, as well as all of the APs.

I think that you should check out the, “What are my chances?” page because more people tend to visit that page and will give you more advice. Good luck to you and enjoy America! :)
