What kind of jobs use mathematical modeling?

I’m debating whether to be a doctor or an engineer. I got into Cornell for engineering but if I’m trying to take courses like Chem 2150 that will let me fulfill the freshman premed requirement in case I opt to transfer to another college for medicine (if anything I can still try out for med school with an engineering degree, although that is somewhat unorthodox and I don’t think it’s my first choice to do that. I’m going to try engineering out first because I’m really interested in it).

That being said, what kind of jobs use mathematical modeling. I hear about jobs like “Computational Modeling in Chemistry” and stuff like that but I have no idea what that entails. I like math and I want to see what kind of applications go on in “mathematical modeling”.
