What kind of School Should an ENFP go to ?

Small, medium, or big.

E tells me that you are an extrovert. You are energized by being around people. I would think a medium to big school…BUT
NF are subjective, compassionate “feeler” people that desire to contribute goodness and meaning to the lives of others. I would think a liberal arts or Colleges that Change Lives School
P means that you are not a planner…you like your options open. You should find a school that has more flexibility in the curriculum

What are your grades/SAT?

What’s your home state? Any particular region of interest? How much financial aid will you require? What areas generally interest you (no need to declare a major here and now)? There are lots of great choices that will work for you. It’s just helpful to narrow things a bit.

To answer your question, I think small, medium, or large could work for you. Most cities will offer a lot more to do off campus, although those things can often (not always) cost money. A small LAC, say 2550 or fewer students, in a small town, will likely have a social scene focused on campus. That can mean Greek life, or sometimes not. But outgoing people can thrive at any size school, especially if it’s a good fit for you.

I agree some of the Colleges That Change Lives (CTCLs) might be good possibilities.

1.I’m from Illinois
2. I’m thinking midwest, northeast, or south
3. I might do law or education

Any

So funny, my daughter, approximately your age, just said she and her friends were sharing their M-B results, and all of her main friends were ENFPs! She’s not, and she just chased them all over town because plans kept changing (very P).

I’d advise googling “test optional colleges” and also “colleges that change lives.” You’ll find a lot of overlap. Your grades are strong relative to your ACT. That’s fine. I know at the top national university that’s test optional, they really are test optional. They claim research, theirs and other, shows that test scores are not a reliable predictor of success in college–grades are much more reliable indicator.

So maybe look through the lists you see on these websites and see what schools jump out at you. Do a little research, run the NPC if cost might be an issue.

For example, I see Dickinson and Connecticut College on the former list. I love those schools–terrific LACs. But maybe they won’t look great to you. Sewanee is literally on a mountain, beautiful campus, lots of nature. I’m not sure any of these would have education, though they would give you good prep for law school. In contrast, the New School could not be more urban. But look around and see if any places jump off the screen at you.
