I’m wondering what kind of students you guys may be? I know there are plenty of A students, 2200+ on their SATs, yada yada, you know, something to be proud of. What about average students, or even mediocre students (like myself) who are thrilled to be going to UW? Would you consider yourself popular, social, a dork, jock, loser, prom queen, queen bee, captain of the football team, outcast, emo, etc.? Define yourself here.

Me: I’d call myself semi-popular, very social, lazy/slacker student who loves Friday and Saturday nights, loves parties and loves to show off.

Well, the UW is a great school, but the admissions to UW are not THAT competitive in (well, except for probably engineering, business, medicine and some other few competitive majors), so, I would expect that there are a lot of not-so-spectacular students here. The student body is also very diverse. So it would not be too difficult to find friends or groups of people that have similar interests with you.

Anyway, if i was to define myself: anti-social, hard-working student, spending the entire Friday night working on a lab report… pretty much 180 degree of you.

Haha very interesting thread. I’d have to agree that there are probably plently of great students, and plenty of average students. If I’d have to describe myself I’d say : Hard-working, easy going, sports crazied, semi-popular, and I dunno if I will be prom queen but I’m on court :).

Like Laura said, funny thread. But as for me, I’m a hard working student ready to make some money when I’m out and who puts work in during the week and chills on the weekends with friends. I’m always down for parties as long as they are poppin. You could say I’m semi-popular. I’m also a football sports player rather than any other sport. Oh yea, I love snowboarding and music too!

I can’t wait for this fall in Lander: ready to hit the AVE, eleven01 and do the long morning walks to school!

umm slacker, I do just enough to get by, and its been working great, got into the UW with a 3.44. Maybe at the UW I might have to start doing homework.
