I sent in a music recording when I applied a few years ago. I know it was reviewed by the director of the music program, by the way, so I guess they try to get proper faculty to evaluate supplemental submissions if appropriate.

I sent in 30 pages of a 313 page published guide I wrote to the Civil War, an issue of a magazine I created in my sophomore year (hardcopy), and a supp. rec.

30 pages!???!? Oh my. I wouldn’t want to read 30 pages. I’d have sent a summary and maybe a 1-page excerpt. 30 pages is kind of hefty, especially if you’re sending other stuff, too, I’d think.

DS sent in his research paper, but he didn’t expect Admissions to read it. He was thinking it might be passed along to a prof if/when they consider scholarships.

Then again, they might cut it into pieces and use it to make origami or LOLCat Litter. :)

I submitted a short dance dvd as an arts supplement. But it was just a really short one of me doing a variation at my dance studio (not a performance or anything).

i submitted the soundtrack to a short film that i scored and recorded and another rec

a few songs i’ve written and recorded
