What laptop should I buy for engineering school?

<p>Budget is not a huge issue. I am going to study mechanical engineering and I want a nice laptop that I will not be frustrated with.</p>

<p>You may need a Quadro card for CAD stuff.
Consider Xotic PC 15" Sagers. Choose K3100M when opted for GPU.</p>

<p>I work in the Tech field and basically if you don’t have a laptop with a Windows OS you can’t get any work done. My work gave us all Lenovo Thinkpads which are robost ugly machines but they get the work done. Maybe look into one of those. </p>

<p>Basically anything with a Windows OS and a reasonably capable graphics card should suffice. </p>
