What (little things) can you “not live without?”

I suspect we’ve done this before, but many of us have plenty of time on our hands, so what the heck. What are your favorite little pleasures, or what “must” you have regularly.

It dawned on me today that I must have “chapstick” (in my case it’s usually Burt’s Bee’s or the ball shaped one). I use the stuff constantly.

Every morning I’m home I have two latte’s with a tiny bit of hazelnut or vanilla syrup.

If it weren’t for high fat (usually Ben and Jerry’s) ice cream and white wine I’d be a lot thinner.

Fresh cheese, melted on toasted bread, with butter.

Justins vanilla almond butter with honeycrisp apple slices.

I don’t know where to start. I’m quite dependent on my “things”, many of which aren’t little!

My sun tea jar is pretty essential. I have a big glass of iced tea after my morning run and it’s so easy to make the tea with teabags in the sun tea jar and put it outside. Lasts me well over a week.

Good hand cream- current favorite is Aveda, but I switch around.

Wintogreen Lifesavers.

Light cream in my coffee.

White wine.

Foot rubs.

Must have these to start my day:

Maple French Roast coffee that I order online from Speeder & Earl’s Coffee in Burlington VT. Discovered it on a college road trip with my daughter, and now I’m much more of a morning person!

And… half & half for said coffee.

Fresh squeezed orange juice.

Coffee

Alcohol

Barbells

And it will be very hard when my little old terrier is no longer at my side!

My daily routine requires fairly little.

But I really love to watch Reaction videos of younger people who’ve never heard classic rock before watching my favorite bands for the first time. It’s super addictive. Lol.

I’m also a deadliest catch and living in Alaska type show watcher.

At the holidays. I record and make my college age kid watch hallmark movies with dad.

Btw. If you record a show so you still tell some you’ve taped it. Lol. My daughter probably wonders what it means to tape a show. lol.

Diet Pepsi, ChapStick, Curel fragrance-free lotion, Puffs Basic, and Pilot fine point black pens.

I’m very daily dependent on those five things and not much else.

I live on Coke Zero. So I do need that. ?

Chocolate and Diet Coke.

My multiple pairs of reading glasses!

Thin Balega socks.

The Libby app

Leisurely late breakfast out on deck in the summer.

Being able to time shift and fast forward commercials with the dvr.

Iced coffee on the way to work

In my pockets every day:

Eagletac D25C Ti flashlight

Zero Tolerance 0900 Ti pocket knife

Ridge Ti wallet

Pentel Quicker Clicker mechanical pencil(0.5mm black)

At least five waking minutes of absolutely unadulterated silence and alone time.

An iced drink in the car.

Ear plugs! My recliner, Chapstick, Diet Coke, peanut butter… And toilet paper

The ability to walk outside in an area that is not crowded. Even when I lived in Chicago and then NYC, I found a way to do that every day. It’s a must for me. I become Godzilla otherwise. Doesn’t matter the distance. Even two short blocks is enough to bring me peace of mind.

If I ever lose function of my legs, I’ll be out there in a wheelchair or a hand-powered bike.

Can’t live without the facetime “visits” with the kids.

Morning coffee. Dark roast, half’n’half. Yum.

My C: drive.
