What looks better for collegiate admissions? SAT dilemma

<p>I got a 1400/1600 on my SATs, receiving a 790 on math and 610 on CR. Would someone with 2 700s look better than me?</p>

<p>Also I am applying as a economics major</p>

<p>Yes. Based purely on those numbers, it it obvious that someone with more equal numbers will look better in general. HOWEVER, in your intended major, it does not warrant a retake.
