Sounds like an information systems major to me since it has data warehousing, mining, and business intelligence as keywords. I don’t think any other business major studies this (could be wrong though). I am doing my master’s in IT and will be studying those subjects.

Is this something you would like to do one day? It is definitely not entry level.

There are Business Intellegence specializations in some MBA programs, and it’s also a masters degree offered at some schools. However, I would think mostly computer types would follow that path as an alternate to MIS.

Business intelligence teams will generally be highly technical and thus you would probably need to have some sort of BI background to manage them. In regards to majors, CS or MIS would be the most obvious choices.
