What Majors Should I Be Looking At?

I’ve visited Princeton and love everything about the school. I just don’t know what academically Princeton has to offer me. In the case that I find nothing, I am obviously not going to apply.

Based on my statistics below, what majors at Princeton should I consider? (Note, this is not a chances thread.)

Based on my application, what does it appear that I have an aptitude for? I can then emphasize that on my application as like a “theme.” Thanks!

Someone else cannot tell you what you would like or be good at. it’s up to you. Princeton will offer one of the best programs available in pretty much whatever you choose. picking a college by prospective major imho is not a good idea because many people switch at some point at least once.

if you are looking for a theme, i would say “I am good at everything so you should accept me,” only a bit more subtle. Good luck.

OK, so let me get this straight: you loved Princeton and everything about it, but you don’t know if you’ll apply because you haven’t picked a major yet and are worried it won’t have one you want?
Princeton’s distribution-requirement system is perfect for people like you. Since you appear to be good at every subject, shop around and take lots of classes in different fields until you find your niche in a department that you’ll be happy in. A lot of people change their intended majors several times before declaring, so you’ll have plenty of time to be indecisive.

As far as emphasizing something on your application, that’s something only you can really pick. You get straight A’s and have a lot of good EC’s, but surely you have more specialized areas of interest?

yeah sorry man, i don’t think asking an online forum what you should do for the next 4 years of your life is a good plan

what an odd kid.
Study slavic languages.

I’d say either LGBT studies or Anthropology. It’s really a toss up.

Actually, I think UPenn has both “Africana Studies” and “African Studies.” Maybe you should go there and double major to find out the difference…
