<p>I came to Dartmouth two years ago wondering the same thing, trying to figure out why it ranked in the top 5 for “happiest students” on the Princeton Review scales. </p>

<p>Well, I can attest that it is the best balance of fun and learning I have found. The school is small so you make friends quickly and see them a lot. Parties are generally fun and non-exclusive. People are diverse and laid-back, unlike many comparable institutions.</p>

<p>And the learning is world class. Kids will work harder at other schools, but companies across the world know Dartmouth for the incredible social skills students develop during their time here.</p>
