I’m just curious…but I want to know what you guys think
For one, I’ve heard that Yale has a more diverse (as in students beating to their own drums) student environment…(which is one of the reasons why I’m interested in Yale)

So what do you guys think sets Yale apart from all the other Ivies?

Yalies must value a sense of humor, because they have the absolute funniest admissions guys leading info. sessions. We visited several years ago with my oldest, and thought the young man was very charming and humorous. But then we visited recently with my second, and I thought that man was even funnier (he’s done stand-up comedy). One woman could not stop laughing, which made the rest of us laugh even harder.

^^I completely agree with you TheGFG. When I visited over the summer, the admissions officer who conducted the session was extremely funny. There was this lady sitting next to me who just would not stop laughing. (I mean, he was funny and all…but not that funny. I personally think she was trying to win some brownie points for laughing at all his jokes…but that’s just me.)
