<p>I’m beginning at City College of San Francisco this upcoming academic year in hopes of transfering into Berkeley.</p>
<p>I plan on applying as an english major and want to know what math courses I should take during my two years at City College. I have been out of school since 2004 (Graduated from high school) and my math during H.S. consisted of Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Probability and Statistics.</p>
<p>What courses fulfill the math requirement at Berkeley? Would it hurt my chances at admission if I never made it up to calculus during my two years at City College? I’m afraid I would not be able to keep up in a precalculus/calculus course as early as my first year simply due to my lack of math experience since graduating from high school. </p>
<p>What should I do?</p>
