What Medical School would accept someone from Rutgers

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Rutgers respect among medical school. If I want to go to a fairly prestigious medical school (say top 20 or so), do I have a chance at getting in. Right now I just finished freshman year with a 4.0. I’ve taken gen bio. 101 and 102, Calc II, Physics I and II (honors), Global East Asia, Honors colloquium, and an Honors Molecular View of Human Anatomy, and a Byrne Seminar. I think I want to do either a CBN (cell bio and neuroscience) or Bio-Math major. If I keep up my grades, stay in the honors program and get a 35 or higher on my MCAT’s, do I have a shot at the top?

i would say so…

I a friend of mine’s brother went to a very unknown school, did pretty well, then scored in the 95th percentile of the LSATs and was admitting to Miami Law, BC Law, USC Law, and UCLA Law, and thats no easy task coming out of anywhere.

Of course, Rutgers has a great rep, it’s one of the best state schools in the US.

I got this off of the Rutgers career services website:

You mentioned bio-mathematics. Here are a few schools where graduates have gone on to:
