What more should I do?

I’m currently in high school and just finished freshman year, I received A’s in all classes I took this year and have a current GPA of about 4.21 (counting a 4.5 received from straight A’s in H. Geo 8th grade). My classes were as follows:

Gym (Mandatory)
English CP
H. Biology
H. Algebra II
French II (No Honors Available)
World History (No Honors Available)

24 Composite on Explore (Out of 25)

25 Math
25 Science
25 English
21 Reading

Unfortunately, I don’t have many extracurricular activities. I am a total car nut and attend auto shows all of time and I have made friends with many fellow car enthusiasts. Lately I’ve been hanging out at an automotive mechanic shop helping out and learning about cars as well. I’m also an avid coin collector. But, this isn’t much and I need to find more that capture my interest. When I have a driver’s license I plan on competing in Autocross and am also thinking about starting a car enthusiast club at school. I was literally in no clubs last year, none interested me at all. As it stands how do you think I’m doing so far? And do any of you have suggestions for me? I really hope to get into Stanford or UC Berkeley, and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Does your school has a robot team? If not, form one.

Remember when it comes to extra-curricular activities that quality matters much more than quantity. Try to join a robot club at school or start one, keep working on cars and continue to volunteer at the mechanic. Remember anything you do outside of school besides homework is an extra curricular, and it doesn’t just have to be clubs. Good luck :)
