<p>Pomona seems absolutely amazing. But that’s just the thing, I can’t think of anything I wouldn’t like about it. What keeps Pomona from being the most absolutely perfect example of modern academia?</p>
<p>I know a lot of people have complained about the location in Claremont, which is relatively dead. But LA is definitely easy to reach…</p>
<p>My interviewer said something about how the people who work there doing maintenance, etc aren’t as welcomed into the community as they should be… but that they were trying to change that.</p>
<p>Idk, if that’s the only thing it seems pretty ideal to me.</p>
<p>Staff relations have been improving in the past, and Pomona made big strides this year with the hiring of an ombudsperson to further incorporate staff input into administrative decisions. </p>
<p>I used to think the food was so-so, but having now compared it to many other colleges, I can tell you the food offered on the 5C’s is pretty unbeatable.</p>
