What are some things that you guys think should just not be worn on campus, whether it’s played-out/outdated, silly/stupid, or just plain lame?
My suggestions:
-Rival school anything
-Makeup that looks like you’re going to a ball
-High heels
-boots when its 80 degrees out
-clothes that leave less to the imagination

The great thing about college is that you can wear whatever you want.

No parents, no employers really. Clean up nice for class or decide to lounge around for the day - do whatever, it’s a period of your life with tons of freedom.

PS - I love clothes that leave less to the imagination. Esp at the outdoor pool ;D

I find it funny to see a college girl in high heels simply to go to class, walking like a man and struggling to walk period.

I agree with the class that leave less to the imagination, unless the girl has a rocking body, which means less than 10% of the population (maybe much less).

Suits and briefcases (unless for senior presentation)
Snuggies
Skates
Leggings, UGGs and a North Face in all seasons
Leggings when worn as pants
Capes (I’ve seen this a couple of times)
High school letter jackets
Sleevelss shirts when people rip the hole from armpit to just above the waist- especially when girls wear a sports bra underneath.

I love clothes that leave less to the imagination. But if you’re overweight you shouldn’t wear tight clothing ( I don’t want to see your rolls).

DO NOT wear your high school letter jacket!

I’ll go ahead and third the clothes that leave less to the imagination comment.

hmmm…

People who show up in their PJs. I mean how hard is it to throw on clothes.

Clothes that don’t fit the person. I’d rather not see the muffin top thanks.

Rival school wear… odvious

Fancy stuffs when it doesn’t suit the occasion.

No shoes! I’ve seen people go to class without them

A guy in my history class last semester used to wear a tail! Nobody do that…

Some people think sweaters are “fancy” stuff or just wearing a button up shirt is fancy… I completely disagree with that.

“Fancy stuffs when it doesn’t suit the occasion.”

Is that suppose to be a pun or something? What do you mean by fancy? I like to look nice sometimes because a shirt and jeans/shorts gets boring sometimes.

Girls, I will only say this once, LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS

Tiff90: What’s wrong with a snuggie? It’s perfect! It’s like a blanket but with sleeves. You don’t have to desperately fidget around with the blanket while trying to change the channel. What could be better than that?

pramirez stole my post word for word.
However, I will repeat this.

My fellow girls, LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS.

This goes double to girls who are not rail thin. But still should not be worn as pants by anyone.

I’d like to shake the hand of the guy who invented leggings. “Well done sir” is what I’d say to him. (Obviously it was a guy)

PS. the only girls who don’t like leggings are the ones who aren’t hot enough to rock them

No sir, you are wrong. A lot of girls go for comfort over style (and there is nothing wrong with that), but this is ridiculous.

At my school, a lot of girls wear leggings and an extra large shirt (which I guess they think is a dress). They often wear shorts over their leggings. I simply want to say that if you are cold, put some pants on and you won’t be.

It was like 90 degrees today and I saw a girl in boots. I laughed.

I can’t really talk though, because unless I am going somewhere other than class I don’t usually bother to get dressed in the winter. lol

No, there are girls like myself who don’t like leggings because they cause severe camel toe on everyone who wears them.

And for the record, I’m a girl who could “rock them”

I agree with Caillebotte. Leggings look great on girls with long legs.

Someone in my japanese class wears a tail and ears to match, has long hair (big ponytail), a dog callor + chain, and is male.
