Planning to major in computer/electrical engineering

I am applying to University of Houston, A&M, UT Austin, and Rice

I would like to know other colleges that I have a reasonable chance of getting into with a strong computer/electrical engineering program.

Any opinions are much appreciated

I would at UTSA and Trinity U to your list. Trinity, in particular, has generous FA and Merit.

Do you qualify for automatic admission to UT-Austin?

Good luck!

I do qualify for automatic admission to UT-Austin, but not necessarily to my major of choice. Thanks for your suggestions!

SMU gives out good scholarship money, and you might be in the running for a full ride Presidential Scholarship.

Sounds like you’re a Texas resident and you graduated in the top 2%.That should get you into UT and A&M easily. UTSA and Texas State would probably offer a full ride honor’s scholarship to go with that. Their engineering schools are really good also. There’s a lot of value in graduating debt free even if it’s not a big flagship school.
