What People in Hell Have on Their IPods

Via Instapundit:

The entire Internal Revenue Code available via podcast.

Some people just take technology in directions it shouldn't go.

Frightening.

My husband started out as a tax attorney. I just forwarded it to him. He will not be amused. ;)

When I saw the title I was thinking "Michael Bolton?"

That wouldn't be as quite bad, but that David Hasselhof video version of "Hooked on a Feelling" would have been pretty close. It falls short only in being mercifully, infinitely shorter than the tax code.

How about the early 70s am trilogy of "Seasons in the Sun", "The Night Chicago Died" and "Billy Don't Be a Hero"?

And of course "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by William Shatner.

"Feelings" by Morris Albert?

A list only limited by ipod memory...

How about some of those Chipmunks songs, where they are all speeded (sped??) up?

Or "It's a Small World After All," on an infinite loop....

I'd have to go with Shatner's "McArthur Park" instead or Nimoy's "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins".

But people who go around listing songs that incidiously work their way into your head and refuse to leave (what's the word for that, I forget), may be evil in their own way.

I was thinking more along the lines of the video i-pod and a full season of "Elimi-date" or "Jerry Springer" or ..oooohhh.....even worse "Charles in Charge" with Scott Baio. (Now there's something for Slobodan Milosevic. LOL. I'd like to think it's happening as we speak.;))

Love is a burning thing
and it makes a firery ring
bound by wild desire
I fell in to a ring of fire...

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down,down,down
and the flames went higher.
And it burns,burns,burns
the ring of fire
the ring of fire.

"These boots are made for walking" performed by ANYONE.

R. Kelley's 12-part "urban opera" Trapped in the Closet.

On Beelzebub's Playlist:

"Muskrat Love" by Captain and Tennille

"Afternoon Delight" by Starland Vocal Band (Skyrockets in flight...)

"Theme from Arthur" by Christopher Cross (When you get caught between the moon and New York City?)

"Disco Duck" by Rick Dees

"Boogie Oogie Oogie" by A Taste of Honey (Now git on up on the floor cuz we're gonna boogie oogie oogie till you just can't boogie no more)

"Truly" by Lionel Richie

"The Pina Colata Song" by Rupert Hine

And the best/worst thing is that in Hell an ipod has unlimited storage space...

Strick, from another similar thread, I think the term is "ear worms."

Anyway, I hope our military interrogators are monitoring this thread, although the use of the "Meow Mix" advertising jingle played 24/7 is pretty hard to beat when breaking the jihadists.

Has anyone mentioned the 30 min. version of "Ina-gadda-da-vida"?

"In the Year 2525" by Zager and Evans, from waaay back in 1969. I believe Dave Barry considers it the worst song of all time. I don't know that I would agree, but it's definitely a contender.
