What percentage of 2400 URM's get accepted into ivies?

<p>by 2400 i meant Sat Score. Basically im looking for an answer like</p>

<p>-over 80% would get in</p>

<p>-over 50% would get in</p>

<p>-over 30% would get in</p>

<p>I know not much information is provided lets just say 3.9 g.p.a+, solid ec’s top 5% in class</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure that a high percentage of all 2400s get accepted to at least a top school (sadly the same cannot be said for 2300s…) so if you add hooks into consideration, it’s safe to say that the vast majority of them get into a top school.</p>

<p>If the rest of information checks out. 3.8+ normal stuff no felonies or expulsions then I would say 100% get into their top ~3 choices. How many 2400 URMs are there? 20?</p>

<p>AN ivy? If they applied to all 8, then I would say 100% for sure that they’ll get into at least 1. To their top choice, probably 80% or so…</p>

<p>But honestly there are probably 20 of these kids in the nation.</p>

<p>Assuming a top 10% class rank, I think with 80% confidence they would get into 7 of the 8 Ivies. There is a 50% chance they’d get into all eight.</p>

<p>By the way, I’m not sure which URM you are referring to. URM generally refers to Black or Native American, and not to Asian (including Vietnamese), and to a lesser degree Hispanic/Latino. I think the heirarchy for most colleges would go like this (recruited athletes EXCLUDED):</p>

Native American Male
Black Female
Native American Female
Hispanic Male
Hispanic Female</p>
