"What personal/academic accomplishment are you most proud of?"

This is a question on my school’s “brag sheet” which we give to teachers who are writing our LORs. I was just wondering what a good answer for this question would be. I don’t think I have any really stunning academic accomplishments - I have a 4.0, but it seems like it would be odd to say that grades are my proudest accomplishment, as it doesn’t feel like much of an achievement to me. What I’m actually proudest of is how I’ve managed to better myself socially and come out of my shell during high school, but I’m not sure if that really counts as an “accomplishment” that would be useful for my teachers to know. Has anyone else had to answer similar questions on a brag sheet? What should I put?

That sounds like a great accomplishment

Do not mention how your grades are your proudest accomplishment. Selective colleges see tons of applicants with great grades. They would rather admit someone with decent grades and an extremely intriguing background than someone with great grades and nothing else because all they did is study.
