<p>What I want to know is what professions/careers these people who take real analysis, abstract algebra, complex analysis, differential equations,and point-set topology, submit papers to a conference, go to RSI, receive top scores on national exams, and self-study 20 APs, all with a list of endless extra-curriculars go into.</p>

<p>Haha, some will become mathematicians, engineers, doctors, research scientists and a few probably don’t end up finding the bottom of the bottle due to stress of not being accepted to Harvard or Yale or getting too involved in the party scene. (jk about the last part but unfortunately I’ve seen it happen)</p>

<p>Nope, every single CC’er becomes a scientist, lawyer, doctor, or ibanker. No teachers, diplomats, cops, accountants, or authors to be found.</p>
<p>(Though, my Bio teacher was telling me that, at her Harvard reunion, she began to be able to guess everyone’s profession, because everyone at her table was an ibanker, except for one woman, who happened to be an Ob/Gyn.)</p>
<p>Just look at the forums that are most frequented, i.e. med school, ibanking, law, anything that requires ambition and years of education.</p>
<p>So, if you’re going to spend many years learning in school, you’d better enjoy talking about it.</p>
