<p>I have an essay that asks about any scientific research projects that I’ve done and wanted to know how intense it had to be to qualify. I know kids here on CC post some really intense stuff, so I don’t know if my project would compare. Last year in AP Chem, a partner and I, we designed our own experiment to compare various brand name heart burn liquids/pills. We tested to find reactivity rates, cheapest medicines per amount of acid neutralized, fastest initially working, and other variables. It was an intensive project in that it took the whole fourth quarter to design, setup, complete, analyze, and present our findings.</p>
<p>I’m just not sure if this qualifies as “scientific research” because I’m sure someone else has already done it.</p>
