What question did YOU come up with?

I posted mine in some other thread, but here it is again: “We have all curiously scoped out a car plastered with bumper stickers that advocate certain beliefs and values, warn fellow drivers, or simply deliver a chuckle at red lights. Tell us about a bumper sticker you would stick on your car and the significance of its message.”

my question is so lame that they’ll probably reject me just b/c of it
i must admit i completly forgot about that short answer option and i noticed i left it blank the last minute so the first thing that came to mind i wrote… it’s pathetic and only 7 words?
but i’m proud since my question could recieve an award for the WORST QUESTION ever submitted :)

What do you typically have for breakfast and how does it reflect you and your outlook on life? (I’m a blueberry waffle)

I think i was hungry when I wrote that…

Mine was an essay question:

A professor in the animated movie Waking Life remarks, “we should never simply write ourselves off and see ourselves as the victim of various forces. It’s always our decision who we are.” Describe the personal effects of a decision you made or a time when circumstances were beyond your control.

mine is ok i guess

In the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Arthur Dent is whisked away into space by his alien friend moments before Earth is destroyed. Unfortunately, Arthur didn’t have time to bring any belongings. However, he did carry with him ideas like democracy, freedom, love, hate, etc. If you traveled into outer space, what idea, object, or philosophy would you bring with you?

Who are you?

Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote that a “Weed – [is] a plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.” Write about a time when a person, experience, or concept that you found insignificant or even counterproductive at first turned out to be one of the most worthwhile and beautiful.

hehe. I like the idea of getting to torture next year’s class =D

mine: please describe a moment in your life, such that if given another chance, you would have lived or done something very different

now, i look at it, i realize how bad it is.

I wrote a pathetic one: If you were to reverse a decision you made in your life up till now, which one would it be? Why?

If you could describe yourself with a character from film, television, or a play, who would it be and why?

Stupid…but I’m not very creative.

Isaac Newton once said, “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.” In your lifetime, whose work would you most like to continue and why?

Good question.

This thread made me laugh hysterically twice today, which granted, I had only had about 3 hours sleep, but I was having a really bad day and it was kind of funny when this kid next to me in sociology got this scared look because I randomly burst into laughter. Special thanks to “I’m a blueberry waffle” and “Who are you?”.

And now I should sleep.:)

Goldfish - he brought his towel. Don’t ever forget your nutricious life-saving towel ; )

I was trying to keep with the quote-then-question format:

Dave Barry says, “The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above average drivers.” What do you believe? What do you see yourself as?

Mine is very simple! What does your favorite song reveal about you?

Mine is: You have just found out who your roommate will be next year, however instead of going to meet them yourself you can send one person to represent you, who would you send and why?

WOW! dsmo, I used the same quote!! Fortunately, my question is a little different from yours.

Sir Isaac Newton once said: “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” On whose shoulders have you stood on? How has this person helped you accomplish your goal in life or find your way in life?

I think mine is a bit “out there”, but oh well.

In American Beauty, the character Ricky mentions that, “there’s so much beauty in the world I feel like I can’t take it…and my heart is going to cave in”. What do you think contributes to the beauty of ordinary everyday events? What do you consider beautiful in your own life?

lol…“how do you feel about wednesdays”…?

I wish I could have applied to the University of Chicago last year so I could have answered the wednesday question. :P
