What rank of colleges does my stats fit as a transfer student

I have a 3.7gpa out of 4.0
I currently studying in a 80-90 state college

What are you looking to study? If you want to study engineering my recommendations would be very different from if you want to study literature.

Thank you!
I want to study computer science

How many credit hours have you completed at your current university? What is your GPA in math and science classes? What schools are you considering transferring to?

In general, though, having a high/highish GPA like yours will make you eligible for a pretty wide range of schools (short of the Ivies and near-Ivies, probably) because evidence of being able to handle college-level work will rise above anything else (the schools you are interested in transferring to might not care about your high school record, standardized test scores, and so on once a certain number of credit hours have been completed–check every school’s transfer guidelines).

But, yes, in general you should have a lot of schools in play. I maintained a 3.7 at a community college and gained acceptance to the in-state flagship that had denied me in high school (chose a different school instead, though). It’s long been known as a “trick” that one can gain admission to a “better” school by first going somewhere else and kicking tail there.

I didn’t took science classes, I took calculus 1and 2 both As and macroeconomics, microeconomics both A-
