So let’s say the GPA is 3.9 weighted in junior year, what would their rank be - a rough guesstimate? At least within the 25% range?
A little info about the school
IB
Slightly competitive (I guess?)
A few kids go to Ivy schools yearly
Trimesters
Around 600-700 kids in each grade (there is only 10-12th grade)

That’s the school with a list of graduates (you can see the GPA’s the graduates made in 2007-2008)
Also, are AP / IB classes weighted the same? (at that school pretty sure it’s on a 5.0 weighted scale, and 4.0 unweighted)

Here is some student info in case that will help any - I know no one on here will know the exact answer but I just want to know if I stand a chance at being in the top 25%/ first quartile

Do you go there? Your best bet is your guidance counselor.

On an unrelated note, holy crap does Trinity have a beast football team. They absolutely emasculated my school’s team when they played lol

I’m not sure how good it is academically, though.

I am thinking about going there but it would seem pointless if I went there and didn’t make at least top 25%, since I could just go back to my old private school where I know I will maintain a gpa of at least 3.7 possibly higher but have no chance at being top quartile due to the small size.

And LOL yeah the football team I heard is extremely good

At my school, AP/IB classes are weighted the same, but it’s out of 5.67.

It really varies from school to school (even graduating classes at the same school vary). Your best bet would be to try and talk to some people who go to the school/would be in your grade.

Even talking to kids who go to the school probably won’thelp much. Try to contact a guidance counselor from Trinity.

If you are a junior or younger though, you still have some time to raise your gpa a bit higher.

Eh yeah, I don’t have any time left. So I guess I’ll just go there and try my hardest and hope that I can get into the classes I want and they aren’t all full… registration is next week but I heard current students pick their classes before the year is out so I’m worried all the good classes are full
