<p>I’m going to be sending my scores out to HYPS soon and I wanted to know if I should even bother sending in my third score along with my top two.</p>
<p>Chemistry - 770 (88th percentile)
Spanish (nonnative) - 750
Literature - 730 (90th percentile)</p>
<p>I’m putting down English as my main interest. Would sending a 730 be negative or at the worst another decent score?</p>
<p>If you’re slightly vaguer, saying you’re interested in humanities or languages in general, it would count for the better, definitely.</p>
<p>I already sent in my app with English language and literature as my primary interest… I got a 770 on Writing and a 5 on AP Lang (self-study)?</p>
<p>It’s still great, decillion. The score will not “hurt” if your application is impressive. I think scores matter most only for people who pale in other areas such as HS records, etc.</p>
