<p>All I could think of while reading this was that Dead Parrot sketch by Monty Python. This is what comes of a finer British education - or at least from reading too much Wodehouse, Sayers, and the like.</p>

<p>I couldn’t get through it; the lack of standard punctuation and use of “desert” for “dessert” was grating, and when I got to “their” for “there,” I gave up.</p>
<p>Oh, I loved it. He did write “palette” when he should have written “palate”, but indeed, it was Monty Pythonesque.
