I am a junior right now and did not have a very good junior year when looking at my grades.
I have received nearly all C’s in my honors and AP classes dropping my gpa to a 81 where it was at 84 middle of my junior year [unweighted]
and I am just wondering how strongly this will reflect in my college applications, implying that hopefully my grades will be better my senior year [taking 3 APS].
I do a lot of extra curriculum like sec/tres. of Drama club [ been in every show, have awards]
Unified Sports
Special Olympics
Student Council
Brought speakers to my school
Debate Club
GSA
I also have a part time job as a sales- associate.
The colleges I am looking at are UChicago, BU, Newbury College, Columbia College Chicago, C.W. Post, FIT.

Anyone? Any comments

ACT/SAT score?
Class rank?

Pretty much rules out UChicago and BU, sorry to say.

Class rank im in the top 25%
SATs right now are 1490 but i am retaking them once fall comes.

your college range is around 30’s to 50’s. depends on what race you are

What does that mean? My race doesn’t help much, i am russian [parents came over as refugees from the ussr] and first generation. But on the application i am considered Caucasian.

Bump. Bump
