I noticed that there were many threads like this in previous years, which listed people from the college confidential community and schools they are applying to. I didn’t see any discussion like this so far for the class of 2020, (2019 for me!) So I guess I will start with mine. Which is VERY obvious. please add yours too!

I’m in 8th grade and very nervous about admissions!
I’m applying to: Exeter, Andover, Deerfield, Loomis Chaffee, Groton, St. Paul’s, and Governor’s Academy
I have shared too much information and my child has a rather uncommon profile. I am afraid of some AO identifying her and then obtaining a list of all schools that she applied to.
Bet we couldn’t guess it! 
@SculptorDad hahaha its totally fine. I don’t know if AOs visit CC, but it would be kinda creepy if they stalk everything we do including sharing stories on an online website… Anyway, good luck to SculptorKid behalf on his/her admissions!
@SculptorDad it is my understanding that if you’re applying for FA, as I believe you do, every school will know what other schools you’re applying to, because they’re all listed on the FA application.
@GoatMana, Really? I never knew that. Damm. Well. We are NOT applying to all schools that we submitted FA application. But that won’t make a difference to them.

I will just pass along a conversation with an AO who mentioned at a reception that one of her interviewees said their son was applying to 17 schools. The AO laughed at that and said maybe the kid doesn’t have a first choice, but she needs to know if they are in the running at least.
If you appear to have applied to a lot of schools, maybe you want to tell your first choice they are first? I know this is controversial, and I am not sure what I would do, if I were your DD. But I thought I’d pass along that tidbit because I certainly filed it away when I heard it.
@6teenSearch, Thanks for the advise. I think we already did let the school know it. But did you make it more like an official offer somehow? how did you file it?

I again see why some barely-able parents bite the bullet and go into FP. Wish I could too. But we are all gifted differently and I am grateful that I still am in the very very lucky side overall.
Probably I will just take up a deep breath and a walk. Hopefully schools would understand why an FA ORM student had to apply to too many schools.
