Well, you obviously have strong stats and a very rigorous courseload. (5 AP’s plus CalcIII/DifEq’s plus Orgo + Econ next year? For real? Guitar and music writing in what free time, lol?)
There are some schools that are reaches for everyone, and where even students with your stats plus major national-level science fair awards, original research, etc. etc. may or may not get in. Which is to say that your chances of getting into MIT/Stanford and the like aren’t zero but they’re probably worse than a coin toss.
But for the vast majority of excellent schools, you are in great shape. And there are many excellent MechE programs. So… what are you looking for in a school? And what’s your budget and financial aid eligibility? What’s your home state?
