What schools can I get into with these grades?

<p>Distance from my home address is not a consideration, location doesn’t matter.</p>

<p>My high school grades were like a 3.0 with 1480 SAT score (the 3 section, thats 1480/2400). My GPA for my 1st two semester at college came to a 3.6 taking mostly general ed requirements.</p>

<p>I’m looking for a college that would place more emphasis on college grades then high school grades when admitting transfer students.</p>

<p>I am interested in a english degree with a concentration in creative writting, or english literature. I want to be a fiction writer, but will probably end up being a editor. </p>

<p>ASU def won’t care in my opinion. I went there as a freshman for a year with a 2.0 hs GPA and a 1660. I’m not sure how the standard are for the journalism program there as it’s very good. </p>

<p>The longer you are out of HS the less weight on your HS GPA. If you do second year prior to transferring then you will have more chance.</p>
