What schools did you choose UPenn over?

Nah, 5/8/77 didn’t strike me. Not even born yet…But Google helped me out as usual. Hope it was a good show for you <evil grin=“”>.</evil>

if you can get your hands on a 5/8/77 CD I highly reccomend it…

those philly shows were rippin’ as well…

all about the same vintage as the Radio City Music Hall shows that were captured on Reckoning…

sorry to highjack this thread… no more dead stuff…

again, GO Quakers…

Wishing you all a long strange trip…

haha yup afa! i guess youre going to penn too? power to the ED deferrals!!

My friend is choosing Penn over Harvard and Northwestern.
I, as well as many others, tried to convince her to go to Harvard, but she maintained that Penn’s engineering was better and that Penn was always her #1 choice (which it was)
I still think she should go to Harvard…but yea

Dude (BOO. I loved this school when I visited. But, no regrets…), Caltech, Stanford (Sort of boo here since they deferred me EA…), CORNELL (like everyone else :)) although they offered to cover my loans and that special research program :(, etc…

shostakovich- I applaud your friend’s decision- Harvard engineering is laughable at best.

why apply to penn or harvard to do engineering? neither is real good for it.

im choosing princeton over penn. pretty boys '09!

The Ivies generally aren’t ranked very high for Engineering.

The top is Cornell at #10. Then:

Princeton, #12
Columbia, Harvard, Penn, #28
Brown, #39
Dartmouth, Yale, #47

Cornell, RPI and JHU (BME)

I am doing engineering over there also, but in PENN, I hope to dual up with the best business schol in the world, so i choose penn over BME in JHU, hope i made a right decision

sorry to break the trend… im turning down wharton for a full ride & the honors program at university of maryland - college park.

I’m wondering why so many people feel the need–not only here, but in almost every thread on CC. It shows such a startling lack of self-assurance, and, really, an abominable lack of good taste.

Whiner.

I picked Penn over Columbia, Stanford, Georgetown, oh and Penn State ;-).

robin, I don’t know, but I’ve noticed it’s usually the people making the worst decisions. (LOL)

JHU, Tufts, BC, U of Rochester,

Haha kissing, agreed. I assume that the people picking Penn over Stanford are going to Wharton. At least I hope.

Prestige is a factor, but Penn is also better in that it’s an urban setting and located right next to the heart of Philly, while Stanford looks like my backyard.

Again prestige only carries you so far.

hey legend of max, i’m hosting a so.cal rubik’s tournament, please msg me your AIM SN, since your mailbox quota is apparently > limit. =]

I live in Oregon… I can’t just go to SoCal just like that lol
