<p>He’ll be in engineering; Viterbi also gave him a merit scholarship so the total cost of attendance is slightly lower than we had expected. :slight_smile: Always glad to see the costs going down rather than up. The Admissions folks promised that the merit scholarships will remain even if he is able to get other outside scholarships, so we’ll get him to apply for some of those as well.</p>

<p>choosing between going to Emerson in Boston on a full honors scholarship—I had wanted to go to Boston since frosh year—and USC’s CNTV program was the HARDEST thing I have ever done. But, alas, it was done.</p>
