<p>He’ll be in engineering; Viterbi also gave him a merit scholarship so the total cost of attendance is slightly lower than we had expected. Always glad to see the costs going down rather than up. The Admissions folks promised that the merit scholarships will remain even if he is able to get other outside scholarships, so we’ll get him to apply for some of those as well.</p>
