In-state CA? Need FA?

Have you taken the SAT/ACT? It’s hard to chance without those.

whoops - 34 on ACT

Out of state, from CT

Your stats seem to be competitive for the schools you mention, but it’s a little hard to imagine that Colorado College (a small liberal arts college) would appeal very much to the same person as UCLA and USC (two large research universities). Colorado College has an “economics and business” department but that isn’t the same as a school of business at a large university.

Is your family income so high that you don’t need (or don’t qualify for) any financial aid?

Some well-endowed private schools grant need-based aid to families earning up to $200K or more (depending on various factors including the number of children and financial assets).
Regardless of your family income, are your parents able and willing to cover the Expected Family Contribution for expensive private or out-of-state public schools?
